Art is something that may be made from anything. And the guy who best fits this description is none other than Amaury Guichon, a phenomenally gifted chef. Doesn't it sound great that he makes art out of pastry? He is well-known for his meticulously designed pastry creations that appear to be works of art rather than food. His work is known internationally for the jaw-dropping pastry art he creates and shares on his Instagram, which has millions of followers. He is the host of the popular Netflix show "School of Chocolate" because of his amazing ability.

1. The Chocolate Telescope

Guichon is your man if you want a telescope for dessert. He literally built a 5-foot-tall telescope out of chocolate. The cake appeared to be a real telescope, taller than the chef in the photograph.

2. The Elephant

Guichon's chocolate elephant is not only one of his bizarre creations but also one of his cutest. It appears that it took him four days to complete this 6ft tall masterpiece. It's made using dark chocolate and milk. Guichon created the massive 200-pound chocolate elephant as the 2020 Christmas prize during one of his Pastry Academy masterclasses.

3. The Viking Chocolate

A sculpture inspired by Vikings, complete with axe, arrows and shields. Photos and videos of the Viking sculpture can be seen here

4. The Statue of Liberty

On the Fourth of July this year, Guichon made a chocolate Statue of Liberty. It was 7ft taller and 115lbs heavier, making it one of his tallest inventions. Speaking about the showpiece, Guichon said, “This new chocolate creation is very dear to me! I came to the US 8 years ago and finally became a citizen recently, it was really important for me to mark the occasion on this special holiday using a powerful symbol offered by the French to the United States as a gift of friendship.” Guichon grew up in France and began his career in the United States in 2013.

5. The Sea Dragon

Guichon's chocolate Sea Dragon is a sight to behold. It measures 7 feet long and weighs 90 pounds. What makes it unique is that the showcase is composed of three modular components.
